MEET GENEVIEVE

As a Millennial, I can remember getting up to walk across the room to change the TV channel. I remember when houses only had one phone and it was attached to the wall. Now I can stream video from my phone to the TV. More importantly, I can remember growing up with a single mom who had one job. With just one income, she always had food on the table and a roof over our head.

It was not easy, but it was possible.

My brother and I had to put ourselves through college. I used a combination of scholarships, work study jobs, seasonal jobs, and student loans to get my degree.
It was not easy paying off those loans for 14 long years, but it was possible.
What sets me apart from politicians who’ve been in office for decades is that I realize the world has changed. The opportunities that I had don’t exist anymore and that life is not possible.
Professionally and in my years of service to others, I’ve demonstrated integrity and reliability. As a senior loan processor, I helped thousands of families get the keys to their new homes. I currently work with a local food bank that runs food pantries and senior box deliveries, serving over 100,000 individuals across 4 counties. Every day, I see the need for food in my community going up while donations are going down. I’m thrilled to be part of a non-profit that is doing so much to end hunger, but charity can’t be the solution to a problem of this scale.
I served as the volunteer trainer at Lorain county’s largest horse rescue charity for over 12 years. There, I worked with youth groups from all over the county to foster lifelong skills such as communication and teamwork as they learned how to feed, groom and exercise the horses.
I have the experience needed to serve House District 52 with integrity and get the work done. Vote November 5th to send me to Columbus. I’ll be the leader who will bring innovation, energy, and a modern approach to the challenges we face.
